Discount Policy for Commercial Users
New Prices Effective: April 1, 2007
The UConn Soil Nutrient Analysis Laboratory offers a reduced price for soil samples submitted in bulk (10 or more) for routine Standard Nutrient Analysis (pH, Ca, Mg, K, P, micronutrients, and lead screening). The discount charge is $5.00 per sample. The discount price for greenhouse growers requesting the Saturated Media Extract (SME) for soilless growing media sent in as bulk samples is $8 per sample.
To qualify for our discount, the following requirements must be met:

Ten (10) samples or more are submitted at one time. |
| 2. |
Samples must be submitted in bags provided by the customer. We recommend zipper lock sandwich bags. |
| 3. |
Label the outside of each bag with waterproof marker or tape. Bags must be clearly labeled, with BOTH your sample name AND must be numbered in concordance with the paperwork as 1, 2, 3 … 10, 11, 12, etc. Please do not put the sample ID inside the bag. |

A multi-sample sheet MUST accompany the samples and be completely filled out.

When more than ten samples are being submitted at one time, use the multi-sample sheet and re-number as needed. For example, change 1, 2, 3 … 10, to 11, 12, 13 … 20, etc. |

Please be advised, the UConn Soil Nutrient Analysis Lab may submit bills for the remainder of the standard price for samples that are submitted without meeting these requirements (i.e., incomplete paperwork or un-numbered sample bags.) |
